About This Spot

Walking into Korean Wings at Fredericksburg’s Carl D Silver Parkway, you immediately sense the brisk, no-fuss rhythm of a well-loved local spot where flavor takes center stage. The space hums with the easy energy of people grabbing a quick bite that feels anything but ordinary — a casual pause in the day that turns into a quietly joyful experience. Whether you’re here to pick up a hand-crafted fried chicken order or settle in for a moment to savor some of their Asian fusion comforts, the mood stays bright and inviting, a blend of efficiency and genuine warmth.

This isn’t a place for dawdling over a long sit-down meal, but rather one where the front-and-center star is the food’s thoughtfully layered tastes, each bite telling its own story. The comforting crunch of soy-garlic wings, paired with the crisp refreshment of pickled radish, creates a rhythm of textures and flavors that feels vibrant and rooted in tradition while embracing a playful modern edge. Around the corner, the aroma of grilled Korean street corn and the promise of bulgogi-topped fries hint at a menu that’s as diverse as it is satisfying.

The pace here encourages rediscovery — a chance to reconnect with familiar Korean staples like japchae or bibimbap, or enjoy a casual twist on fusion favorites such as Korean BBQ chicken sandwiches and bao buns. It’s a place where the spicy heat of hot wings and the sweet-savory balance of pork belly effortlessly coexist, inviting both those new to Korean flavors and seasoned enthusiasts to find their favorite. The simplicity of the setting allows the food’s personality to shine: crisp, bold, and thoughtfully executed.

In many ways, Korean Wings feels like a friendly corner where locals find comfort in consistency and a little culinary adventure. The communal spirit of sharing plates, pairing wings with seasoned fries, or enjoying a quick takeout meal lends a quiet intimacy — an everyday moment made special by honest, approachable flavors and welcoming familiarity.

My husband and I have been eating at Bonchon for a while and really enjoy it. The chicken is always on point (my husband is very picky about dry chicken) and the other dishes we’ve tried are always good too. Tonight he had wings and I had some bao (the fried chicken and pork belly). I usually get the pork belly bao and always love it and today tried the fried chicken bao which was also very good. In the past we’ve also tried the japchae and the katsu, both of which were also tasty and well made. They don’t do table service anymore but you can eat it there after ordering. Some people seem salty about this but I’m like in this economy I’m just happy if they stay in business and I can have yummy chicken.

Not sure if different ownership but the chicken strips are just as good as they were previous made same way with same sauce! With that being said I do my usual 20 chicken strips 10 soy garlic 10hot never disappoints over the years this place is my go to for wings as well. Looking for something different little more crunch from the Buffalo Wild Wings or regular wings this is your next level.

OMG! Husband found this spot from a Facebook post and it was not a disappointment. We got the soy garlic chicken wings and 3 drumsticks in the hot Korean bbq with the seasoning fries and it was hot and fresh and delicious! The chicken was crispy and moist and the fries were on fire! I told husband we got to stop by before we leave the city to take home... it was just that good! Try them out and trust me you will not be disappointed. I think the price is a good match for what you get and it's very flavorful! Fresh and hot to order!

This is a food court style place. So there will be no rating for service. > Wings are crispy and tasty (dash salty on soy-garlic) We normally eat at Bon Chong and bb.q Chicken. > Takoyaki was just OK. >Japchae was tasty and perfect. >Bibimbap was tasty with shredded omelette instead of Sunny side up, also missing bean sprout.

This is a grab and go fried chicken place, but you can also do dine in. Their spicy fried chicken was hot and sweet but a bit on the expensive side.

Loved it. The pork belly buns were just amazing! Chicken wings are incredible, the garlic soy sauce was perfect. If you like spicy, get the spicy wings, just enough heat to get you sweating!! Great glass noodles with rib eye. Service was exceptional, food was fast and fresh. Definitely a great spot and we will be returning. They even deliver through door dash or they offer a take out menu.

I ordered the Korean BBQ and Garlic Soy Wings with pickled radishes, side of Cole slaw and the Korean Street Corn. Everything was delicious and full of flavor. My favourite was the Korean BBQ wing's seasoning was perfection; the best wings I have ever had in my life. They were cooked with a crunchy outside but moist and tender inside. The corn was a lovely sweet taste with underlying savory notes; the cheese adding a great texture change. The Cole slaw and pickled radishes were fresh and crunchy. I will definitely order from here again and again!
